* WIND AFFECTED GATES: A closed panel gate will be affected significantly by the wind, whereas an open pattern gate will offer little wind resistance. Imagine trying to hold on to a 6ft square panel in gusty conditions. This sail effect warrants an upgrade in equipment specified and may require the addition of an electronic lock. Features:
- Standard kit operates to 110° with hard stops in the ground, only 95° with stops in boxes
- Underground swing gate electro-mechanical operator for residential gates of single leaf of 2.5m and max weight of 500kg
- Available in 230V and 24V versions, it is self locking and is equipped with a lever style manual release mechanism.
- Stops for the open and closed positions are available as an accessory and are fitted to the foundation box saving time on installation.
- 24V version has a virtual encoder built on to the control board which reverses upon detection of an obstacle and an optional battery backup in case of a power cut
- Foundation box is supplied with stainless steel lids
- 180 degree kit must be used if gates mounted on rear of posts
