Safety Edge Setup - Wired System (CN60)

In a wired system you can link upto 4 safety edge units to your electric gates using the CN60 module, although this is not required for a Chamberlain Liftmaster installation. The CN60 is the brain for the edges and it will stop the operation of the gate if any obstruction is detected.

Safety Edge Setup - Wireless System

In a wireless system you can link the safety edges to your control panel wirelessly, you do not need the CN60 module. Connect all the safety edges together and the last through edge is connected to the transmitter which links to the receiver close to the control board. This is the same set up on any electric gate installation.
